Becomes first laboratory in Central India to get Bureau of Indian Standards (then Indian Standards Institution) approval.
Acquires Indore Testing Laboratory and forays into Pharmaceutical Testing.
Comes out with Initial Public Offering with a capital of 5 crores and a new testing laboratory is set-up in Indore with four division - food, pharmaceuticals, building materials and calibration
Baroda branch laboratory is started for Pharmaceutical Analytical Services to cater to Western India market.
Name changed to Choksi Laboratories Ltd.
Vapi branch laboratory is established for quality control and R&D of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and intermediates.
Panchkula branch laboratory goes live providing QC and R&D services to North India. Gets ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation the following year.

Though the Covid-19 was causing lockdowns throughout the world, CLL continued expanding and set-up 65,000 sq. ft. - Centre of Excellence laboratory spread over 2 acres in Indore.
CLL is awarded sampling and inspection in three states for pan-India survey conducted through Quality Council of India for Trans Fats and Acrylamide in food products in India.
Participates in nation-wide sampling and testing of Dairy Products conducted through FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) & QCIN (Quality Council of India) for antibiotic residues and other quality parameters.
