Stack Emission Monitoring
Stack emission monitoring is called or referred as stack emission testing, stack emission monitoring, stack sampling, source emission monitoring, or source testing. It is a process used to measure atmospheric emissions of industrial wastes or pollutants. Pollutants released from the chimney can be solid, gaseous, liquid organic or inorganic.
What is a Stack ?
A Stack also referred as a chimney used to spread hot air to a great height, emissions and various types of particles emitted from chimneys such as boiler, flue gases, etc. At these heights, the polluted air is dispersed over a very large area so that the concentrations on the ground remain within the permissible limits and are not harmful to people, animals or vegetation.
